Hindley Green, Wigan, Greater Manchester

Hindley Green is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan in Greater Manchester. It is situated about 7 miles northwest of Wigan's town centre and has a population of around 6,000 people. It is close to the Atherton, Leigh and Tyldesley towns, giving it great access to the M61 motorway.

The village has a number of amenities such as a library, a post office, local pubs, a Chinese takeaway, a petrol station and a range of small shops. There are some great schools and nurseries in the area, and plenty of parks, woods and green spaces for leisure activities.
