DESCRIPTION

Luscombe Maye are delighted to bring to market 21 Bishops Mead, a detached two bedroom bungalow situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location with no forward chain.
On entering the property you are greeted with a light and spacious porch, which has been utilised as an extra space where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun. The kitchen has a range of matching floor and wall units, with space for a cooker and fridge freezer and plumbing for a washing machine. The sink is positioned so you have a pleasant outlook over the lawned front garden. A well proportioned sitting room offers ample space for seating as well as a dining table set and a glazed door opens out onto the rear patio space. The bungalow sits in a beautiful position, and from the sitting room you can enjoy impressive views of Brent Hill and Ugborough Beacon! The two bedrooms are both double in size and have built in storage space. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, W.C. and wash hand basin.
OUTSIDE
To the front of the property is a private driveway for parking and a single attached garage. The front garden is mainly laid to lawn with shrubs and bushes around the border. A gate down the side of the property provides access to the low maintenance rear garden which is mainly patio, with further bushes and shrubs around the border. The outside space is nearly all fully enclosed by a fence and part wall. The rear outside space mainly faces West and there is a patio space behind the garage which can accommodate an outside dining-table set to enjoy those summer evenings. Neighbouring properties have also utilised this space behind the garage to extend their bungalows, so this could be an option subject to planning permission and all the necessary consents.

SOUTH BRENT

The moorland village of South Brent stands in the valley of the River Avon under the southern foothills of Dartmoor National Park and on the northern edge of the lovely South Hams, fifteen miles from the centre of Plymouth.
The village is one with a strong community with three churches, one of which dates back to Norman times, a primary school and a wide variety of shops. There are well-regarded community colleges at Totnes and Ivybridge, approximately eight and five miles distant respectively, and both towns offer a comprehensive range of facilities for the wider community. Some of the finest beaches on the south coast, along with the South West Coast Path, are all within easy reach.
Situated just off the A38 Expressway, the village is well placed for quick access to Plymouth, Torbay and Exeter for which there are regular bus services. Rail services can be found at Ivybridge, approximately five miles distant, offering services to Plymouth, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Exeter St David's and on to Bristol, Cardiff and London.
