The Former Tabernacle Baptist Chapel is situated in a central location within the small north Pembrokeshire village of Moylegrove which itself is approximately 6 miles west of Cardigan within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The locality has a rural atmosphere and Moylegrove itself comprises a quiet and peaceful village.
The Chapel building is set at a low level within the village adjacent to a small stream. The site is relatively flat and features a former small Baptistry pool. The date stone on the front elevation would suggest the Chapel was originally constructed in 1894. The front boundary comprises a stone wall with wrought iron railings and two central gates opening to a flat lawned area with pathway leading to the Chapel.
The building is of smooth rendered solid stone construction under a steeply pitched slate roof and incorporates arched windows to either side. The structure comprises a standard small Chapel of the gable entry type.
Please note: Scaffolding will be removed following minor roof repairs.
