Over the last few years, Odell Close has been the perfect first home for us giving all the excitement owning your own home can bring. Two years ago, we gutted the bathroom from its original state when the house was built and alongside a clean, modern suite, we installed our beloved Aqualisa – the best shower you will ever have! Alongside this, we have installed fitted wardrobes, an electric car charger and developed a green thumb in nurturing the garden. The kitchen, in particular, is a wonderful space for hosting especially in the summer when the French doors can be thrown open for an indoor/outdoor feel. We have hosted many a BBQ and Sunday lunch in this space.

Odell Close is a wonderful little community that is blessed with kind and generous neighbours who will happily take in a parcel, pop over to water plants and always stop for a chat. Securing nice neighbours is always hope but with this road, you need not worry.

The house’s location is perfect, with a small playground and green a stone’s throw away, ASDA a two-minute walk and regular buses in and out of Reading. This caters as the perfect first home.

Having grown up and lived in this area for many years, we have a real soft spot for it and everything it has to offer - so many conveniences right on the doorstep! The house itself has been extended and improved over the years to create stylish and comfortable accommodation for whoever lives here next. The garage, driveway & EV charging point are always high on people's wish lists and the garden seems just the right size for pottering around in without too much upkeep! Downstairs, the cozy lounge welcomes you in, and the extended kitchen/dining room is just perfect for entertaining and feels like the real heart of the home - on top of that a downstairs WC has been added as part of the extension which is really quite rare for this size home locally. The first floor has a spacious landing, a new bathroom just a couple of years old and the main bedroom has a full wall of fitted wardrobes as well as stylish wood paneling and generally a very tranquil feeling overall.
