We have been living in this beautiful village of Spencers Wood for the past 4 years since we purchased this property from David Wilson Homes. Our home is well situated with easy access to the M4, Reading town centre and the countryside around Wokingham.

We love our home in Fingal Crescent where we have created many special memories with friends and family.

The location of the house being in a cul-de-sac means that it is a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. We regularly do street parties and BBQs with our neighbours and most have become friends. The house itself being detached has the huge benefit of a very private garden with rear patio doors leading into it. We have extended the patio to provide a larger entertaining area and the rest laid to grass with a plant border for easy maintenance. It is usually visited by blue tits, robins and butterflies, very peaceful and calm space to relax in.

The house itself has plenty of storage with fitted wardrobes in the Master bedroom. We have also added additional shelving in the understairs cabinet effectively converting it into a full pantry cupboard. We have also boarded the loft for additional storage and added a ladder for easy access. Instaloft that executed the loft boarding offer a lifetime guarantee for the work done.

The house is very energy efficient, and it has two thermostats, one upstairs and one downstairs so you don't have to heat the whole house if you don't need to. However, since moving in we made them smarter by replacing them with 2 Hive thermostats. We added white UV Protected Poplar Hardwood Plantation full height shutters to all the front facing windows. We added Harvey Water Softener and Drinking water filter when we moved in to ensure all appliances were protected and increase its life.

We updated the family bathroom by making the half-tiled bathroom a fully tiled one for improved water proofing and added an over-bath shower mixer and glass panel enclosure. We have added a 7kW PodPoint Solo 3 Charger in the driveway that allows you to charge your electric vehicle.

What we love about this home is the gorgeous kitchen/breakfast room, which offers a high finish and standard of fittings.
