No 6 is a highly desirable well built detached 4 bedroom family home with a lovely feel to it, built in the late 90's and set in a popular, quiet location with over 1700 sq ft of space to make your own.
With an attractive modern family kitchen/breakfast room, large sitting room, welcoming hallway, dining room or home office, cloakroom and up to 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one ensuite, a flat terrace and steps down to an easy to maintain lawned garden, only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bromyard. What more do you need!
The ground floor is an attractive living space, well proportioned and thoughtfully designed with a modern stylish kitchen with luxury Italian tiles, a Smeg fridge/freezer, built in Neff microwave, hob and double oven and Neff dishwasher are all top grade appliances.
With unique industrial engineered shelving and a 140 year old piece of prime oak forming the breakfast bar, reclaimed from a stately home this is a charming kitchen with all mod cons. From the kitchen you then access the welcoming conservatory which has a door out into the garden.
You will be pleased to know there is a separate utility area with access via the back door to the side of the house, garage and garden. There is loft storage above the utility and two further useful lofts above the double garage.
The stylish sitting room which runs the depth of the house has plenty of space for large comfy sofas to relax in, a modern fireplace, polished granite hearth and multi fuel log burner and leads into the dining room which is open plan to the sitting room making entertaining work well.
There are 3 double bedrooms and one single so again an ideal home office if you both work from home. The bathroom and shower room could do with some updating should you wish to but are perfectly functional as they are.
With double glazing throughout and a Hive central heating system you should be warm as toast. (The boiler is located in the garage, out of the way). The large double garage is always a plus and comes with light and power with good space for bikes, paints and the usual paraphernalia we all accumulate.
(The boiler was installed in 2015 and has been serviced annually and the loft is boarded with an easy to use pull down ladder, plus lighting to make storage that much easier to store and access)
The owner has commented that he has enjoyed living here and is surrounded by friendly neighbours in a very quiet, peaceful, idyllic location. Whether sitting in the garden or the conservatory reading a favourite novel, tranquility is key.
Being a dog owner he is spoilt for choice with dozens of easily accessible countryside walks on the doorstep. You would be hard pressed to find a friendlier town and he will be sad to leave but is embarking on the 'next chapter of his life'.

LOCATION
Located in the picturesque county of Herefordshire, Bromyard is a market town and one I am extremely fond of having lived there for 3 years. It is reminiscent of how most towns were in the 50's and 60's and has a range of independent retailers. There are many small craft businesses both in the town and surrounding villages, woodworking, blacksmithing, ceramics and fine art.
Its name derives from the Old English, 'an enclosure or fenced with Broom or Gorse". It enjoys its own theatre, has many cafes, pubs include the Rose & Lion, affectionately known as The Rosie, The Queens Arms, The Kings Arms, The Inn at Bromyard.
Bromyard is famous for hop production, apples and pears and Herefordshire's award winning Wye Valley Brewery is on the road between Bromyard and Hereford and is home to several micro breweries, cider, Perry and juice producers.
Bromyard enjoys many activities throughout the year with VE Day celebrations this year, Party in the Park, Round the Downs race for runners on the 29 June, a Scarecrow Festival, 13-15 June, Nozstock a popular annual music festival is celebrating on the 19th July, The Speed Festival, 26-27 July, Bromyard Art Walk, 23-31 August, ten days of art by local artists displayed in shop windows and the towns 3 galleries, The Folk Festival, 11-14 September and 'switch on" of the Christmas lights and a Christmas Tree Festival, 5-7 December. So lots for all the family to get involved in and enjoy.
Legges of Bromyard are a fantastic renowned butchers, deli and pie shop and are synonymous with quality and fresh produce. Lamings Bakery was established in 1959 and is run by Andrew & Richard Laming. I enjoy their iced buns, doughnuts, bread and well everything they sell! Reminds me of my childhood, the excitement of waiting by mum to get an iced bun on a Saturday morning. Unchanged and perfect, just as they are.
Bromyard has everything you could wish for, a dentist, doctors surgery and local hospital, veterinary practices, a library, leisure centre and public hall, bus and taxi services, a petrol station that sells the great Cook range, garages to mend your car.
There are a number of manufacturing companies on the towns industrial estate, including Polytec Holden, Hydrologic and one that sells and services wood burning stoves, Rayburns and Agas. So set your children to work to learn about life in their holidays!
