Why the owner loves the property:
When we bought the property, I was travelling into London three times a week, and as we only have one car, we needed somewhere that the station would be within walking distance for me. I love that I can leave the house at 7.45am and be in London Marylebone for 8.30am.What really drew me to the property itself was that the stairs had been moved from the middle to the side, creating a lovely open space in the second reception room. It also gave a space under the stairs for a full wall of bookshelves, and it really accents the high ceiling.I love the chosen decor for the cabinets in the kitchen - the shaker-style gives a cute cosy feel that blends vintage with modern. I especially loved that the kitchen was extended, giving more space to the house as a whole. It was our original intention to extend width-ways with here as well, to add a utility space and open the kitchen space up even further as our neighbours have done with theirs. It's such a cosy house in general too - cheap and quick to heat, and the new combi-boiler with Hive function allows us to work it from our phone. Having an enclosed garden for our dog has been wonderful too! And the Wye playwalking area being right round the corner for us has been brilliant.
