Vendor Interview
Our Cottage is a family home. It has stunning countryside views, a large outdoor area with 4 seater hot tub and balcony to take in the glorious sunsets. A short walk takes you to the countryside for beautiful riverbank walks, bike-riding or a spot of paddle boarding. There is a lovely riverside pub, as well as super shops, cafes and restaurants in town.?
I've loved living in this amazing house. The kitchen looks out on to the tiered garden and the neighbouring field. When you go into the sitting room, this is my "wow" moment - the large bifold doors take full advantage of the views - they open out on to a splendid balcony area, that creates an "inside, outside" feel.?You will regularly see birds of prey flying over, with pheasants, rabbits and wildlife in the fields beyond.?
On a warm day, I just love the garden - it is tiered, with steps leading an area with seating and a hot tub.?The second level has a large patio area with seating and an outside office, reading or garden room. The views from the garden are simply beautiful.
Agents Comment
We get to see many, many houses that come on the market for sale, but this is one of the best we've listed. Its such a wonderful family home, with so much character and interesting features, yet entirely modern, light, airy and frankly, exciting. I love the downstairs space, the way it allows different areas for different members of the family to be together yet have their own space. The sitting room is, as the Vendor suggests, a "wow" place to enjoy. The bi-folding doors are long and, when drawn back, allow access to a fantastic, deep balcony with superb views. Imagine entertaining on a warm evening. Wonderful! There is a lovely snug with a wood burning stove, a separate space to read, lounge or work. The main family bathroom is stunning and totally 5 star. Once outside, the garden is tiered, easy to maintain and clean. There's a fantastic stone paved terrace, perfect for BBQ's and a simply wonderful garden room or office. Again, the views are great, superb opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy peace and quiet. There's no noise. AND, if this is not enough, you can easily walk into Ross and enjoy a nice drink by the river, a coffee in one of the many cafes and shop in the antique stores.?
