*** Vendor comments *** "We fell in love with the house, because of its potential. It is warm, inviting and welcoming from the first steps into the front door. We knew instantly it was going to become a great home for our family. This has been a wonderful family home for us over the past 20 years. We instantly fell in love with how spacious it was, the large kitchen allows to have our family meals and share stories over the dinner table. The kitchen became the heart of the home for us, to feel safe and warm and build many memories. Our favourite room in the house is our living room, a very warm and cosy room to sit and enjoy time with our children, grandchildren and friends. Not to forget the wonderful garden parties with our pizza oven and BBQ, these have been a favourite with all. We have been fortunate enough to have these facilities in our garden and the space to plant our own passionfruit, fig, grape, lemon, strawberry and rosemary trees.

If you love nature this house is perfect for you, there are a range of plants and space to grow new plants and flowers. There are some lovely birds and butterflies that add an extra touch of colour to the garden. Our home is also a short walk to Mitcham Common where we often go to enjoy the fresh air and nature walks, this has been ideal for our dogs that love their daily walks in the park, taking a lap around the common and a splash in the ponds!

Upstairs, we have four comfortable bedrooms, there is so much storage space. We also love the flexibility of having two bedrooms on either side of the house. The flooring for the bedrooms upstairs was done just over a year ago. The spare bedroom has been redone to now fit a double bed and a smaller desk. We have two bathrooms one downstairs and one upstairs. We also have a wonderful attic that is full of potential we could even build another two double bedrooms; it is that spacious. We have solar panels which have been a great help!

We are fortunate enough to have a wide range of transport, being only 20 minutes’ walk from Beddington Lane, buses that can take you to Croydon, Streatham, Mitcham or Wimbledon as well as venturing out to London. There are three train stations nearby all within a 5–10-minute bus Journey (Mitcham Eastfield, Norbury and Streatham Common), so you can always plan and re-plan journeys as and when needed. You can also hop on the bus to Croydon and have links to Gatwick Airport which is a great plus when catching a city break!

We love the shops nearby and have a great relationship with the shop owners, pharmacists and hair salons. Our children have grown up and now have their own children growing up with these familiar and friendly faces. We will miss these faces and the local community events.

We have been happy and fortunate to have been blessed to call this place our home for over 20 years, we have held many great memories. Our children are all grown up now, our two eldest have families of their own and our two youngest are changing careers and moving away, we are therefore looking for a smaller home where we can settle and retire. We are looking to move to closer to the countryside or back home to Italy."
