Inside, the home is bright and welcoming, with spacious living areas designed for both comfort and practicality. The cozy living room is filled with natural light, and a separate study offers a quiet workspace. The expansive drawing room is perfect for formal gatherings, while the dining room seamlessly connects to the conservatory and kitchen/diner, creating a natural flow for family life. The kitchen, complete with a Rangemaster cooker and breakfast bar, serves as the heart of the home, leading into the conservatory with garden views. A versatile additional reception room offers space for a snug, office, or extra bedroom.
Upstairs, the master suite spans one side of the home, featuring a luxurious en-suite with a jacuzzi bath and shower cubicle. The second bedroom enjoys beautiful countryside views, while two further well-sized bedrooms provide flexible accommodation. A stylish family bathroom with a large jacuzzi bathtub completes the upper floor.
Designed for complete off-grid living, the home runs on solar power, with a backup generator that activates when needed. An LPG gas tank supplies heating and hot water, ensuring efficiency and sustainability, with the option to connect to mains electricity if desired.
The extensive grounds enhance the propertys appeal, offering a mix of open green space and woodland. The former kennel block presents an opportunity for conversion into stables, making this an excellent equestrian property. With room for additional outbuildings or multi-generational living, the property offers endless possibilities.
Located in the peaceful village of Walcot, this home provides rural seclusion with excellent transport links and local amenities nearby. Ideal for families, nature lovers, or those looking to embrace sustainable living, this unique property delivers privacy, comfort, and independence in an idyllic setting. Viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate all that this remarkable home has to offer.
