This superb, newly built home was completed in 2024 to an extremely high specification, constructed specifically for its current owners, and boasting energy saving technology, such as high-performance glazing and zoned underfloor heating. Located in the popular village of Brighstone, professed to be the largest village on the island, and providing extensive amenities within easy reach of this home. The parish itself portrays everything you could dream of in a quintessential English village, with an array of thatched homes and historic buildings, as well as a well-stocked village shop, public house, doctors' surgery and village hall. Constructed with spacious, modern family living in mind, the accommodation extends to 2400 square feet over two floors, concealed by its understated façade, and offering versatile living on both the ground and first floor of the property. On entering the home, you are greeted into a substantial entrance hall which has been fitted with durable herringbone flooring which flows seamlessly through all of the living areas and the third bedroom. The sitting room sits at the rear of the home, enjoying access and views over the garden through its glazed French doors and has been finished with attractive wood panelled walls and an exposed brick chimney breast, housing a double-sided wood burning stove, a beautiful feature of the both the sitting and dining room. The dining area again enjoys open views over the garden through a further set of French doors and is separated from the fully fitted kitchen by a large central island with storage beneath and an attractive contrasting quartz countertop. The main kitchen boasts a large range cooker, dishwasher and there is also space for a large American style fridge freezer. Within the wealth of built in wall and base units, there are matching double doors that lead into a concealed utility room, fitted with a butler sink, a range of base units and plumbing for both a washer and dryer. Leading from here you will discover a laundry room, where you will also find the gas boiler and hot water tank, as well as the manifold for the underfloor heating. The rear garden has a substantial wrap around patio, with two pergolas, providing shade in the heat of the summer to these south facing seating areas. The patio leads up to a large, insulated outbuilding, which currently serves as both a home office and store, overlooking the large expanse of lawn, bordered by natural hedging.

What the Owner says:

We have loved building this house as a family, as we all had an input and we will very much miss this house. It is a lovely family modern home and has been designed and decorated to still give it character which a lot of new homes don't always have. Where we were originally planning on Staying here, we kept the spec high and have thought out the design aspect as much as possible, as the house is deceivingly big on the inside. It is lovely living over this side of the island and Brighstone is such a lovely village with everything on your doorstep.
