This unique detached family residence is the ultimate in modern luxury, with its marble floors, aluminium framed windows and front door, a unique staircase, Smallbone designed bathrooms and an Umbermaster kitchen.

Solid wood automatic gates and a separate pedestrian gate open onto a block paved driveway flanked by a charming front garden with mature shrub and trees, a lawn and an Indian sandstone terrace that wraps around the entire building. The impressive double height vestibule has views up to the galleried landing and marble flooring with underfloor heating that flows throughout most of the living accommodation. It is open to the spacious entrance hall and its fabulous staircase with champagne gold covered wrought iron railings and a mahogany handrail.

A charming dual aspect lounge has a large picture window and a fire place with a limestone mantle and a granite hearth. The dual aspect snug/study has bi-fold doors to the front terrace and an adjacent shower room. While the ‘piece de resistance' is the awe inspiring kitchen/dining/living room with a wall of large sliding patio door and plenty of space for seating and dining areas. The superb kitchen features a central island/breakfast bar and Umbermaster units with quartz worktops housing various appliances and an adjacent utility and cloakroom room.

Off the spacious galleried landing there are five double bedrooms that all have data and TV points and ensuite facilities with underfloor heating. These include the impressive main bedroom with a large picture window, a panelled wall and a dressing room with Smallbone bedroom furniture.

The boiler room incorporates a water softener and control systems for the underfloor heating, WiFi and CCTV and the integral garage has a storage area.

The garden has external lights and features the large terrace surrounded by raised flower and shrub beds, additional seating/dining patios, a lawn and a kitchen garden with a shed and storage area, a greenhouse and raised vegetable beds.

What the Owner says:

We bought this property in 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of creating this ‘one-of-a-kind' luxurious family home and are really proud of our achievement. However we feel it is time to downsize. We really like the location and found it very convenient as it is only a short walk to the seafront, beaches, town centre and the station where the fast train can whisk you to St Pancras in under an hour and a half.
Broadstairs is a charming Victorian seaside town with a wide variety of individual shops, beaches, bars and restaurants as well as annual events. We are close to the excellent North Foreland Golf club, the Elmwood Farm Riding Centre and Joss Bay for surfers. There are also rugby, cricket, tennis, squash and bowls clubs in the town. Local education facilities are second-to-none with excellent primary, junior and grammar schools as well as a wide choice of secondary and private schools in the vicinity.
