Rarely will you find a home such as this. Nestled within the Roman walls of Canterbury, right in the bustling centre of the city and yet tucked away down a quiet and private gated walkway you will find this gem.

A private development of only three architect designed dwellings nestle next to the River Stour; perfect for those seeking to be in the thick of things and yet have a desire for both privacy and security. This house would make the most amazing pied-a-terre, place to retire or simply a place to live that is surrounded by and steeped in Canterbury's rich heritage and culture.

The glass front of the house leads into a magnificent open plan living and dining space. Why not open the door and spill out into the secluded courtyard area when family and friends are in the area; have a glass of wine and talk through the summer evenings.

A separate lounge area flows from the open plan area, making a great place to escape to as Autumn draws in. Curl up on the sofa with a book or catch up on work in the useful study at the rear.

Upstairs two bedrooms await with Velux windows in the vaulted ceilings providing a wealth of light and maintaining that ‘architect designed' feel.

What the Owner says:

1 was drawn the property the moment I saw it. Best Lane I knew that it was perfect for me. I wanted a quiet space of my own, yet also needed to be right in the thick of it.
Even though the house comes with a private parking space I rarely use my car as everything that Canterbury has to offer is on the doorstep. I regularly wander down for an evening at the Marlowe or visit some of the wonderful bistros and restaurants that the city has to offer.
It has provided me with an amazing central hub to travel out from in my business life, perfect for my needs at the time. I hope that the new owners will appreciate everything that this home and indeed Canterbury itself has to offer as much as I have.
