Buses 18 & 20 can be collected at the end of the road and will take you to Rylands, Chillwell and Nottingham and will have you dropped off at the main entrance of QMC (Queen Mary's Medical Centre) and or Nottingham University main Campus. Beeston Train Station is a two minute walk from the house and has lines into Nottingham, Loughborough and London St Pancras. Beeston Trams, are only three stops to the Uni or stay on to get into the city centre. Those working Boots could walk to work from Laburnum Grove as it is nice and close.
Take a stroll down Beeston High Road and you will be able to find a great mixture of independent and high street chains, including WH Smith, Boots, New Look, Wilkos, B&M, Bon Marche, Ryman’s, Holland and Barrett, with Tescos, Iceland, Lidl and Sainsburys supermarkets. A selection of cafes can also be found in and around the main shopping area, giving you the opportunity to take a break and watch the world go by in one of the many outdoor seating areas.
