Redcar and Cleveland, North East

Redcar and Cleveland is located in the North East of England, with a population of over 135,000 people. It is a vibrant mix of coastal towns, industrial areas and rural villages.

The coastline is well worth exploring, with miles of sandy beaches and picturesque harbours, such as Redcar and Saltburn. There are plenty of attractions to explore, including the North York Moors National Park, and the Cleveland Way National Trail.

The area is well known for its industrial heritage, with traditional steelworks in Redcar, as well as the Teesport container port.

The area also has some great places to live, including the coastal villages of Marske-by-the-Sea and Loftus, the market town of Guisborough, and the rural villages of Skelton and New Marske. There are plenty of amenities, such as shopping centres and leisure facilities, as well as good schools and transport links.
