Gwynedd, North Wales

Gwynedd is a county in North Wales, bordered by the Irish Sea and Snowdonia National Park. It is home to some of the most stunning landscapes in the UK, with towering mountains, sweeping valleys, and stunning coastline. The city of Bangor is the largest population centre and is the perfect base for exploring the county.

Outside of Bangor, some of the best places to live in Gwynedd include the charming coastal towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch, and the small villages of Criccieth, Beddgelert and Harlech - all situated in stunning locations and with plenty of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The Snowdonia National Park is a must-see for its unique landscape, wildlife and activities such as climbing, cycling and kayaking.
