Gorebridge is in a great location for Scotland's exciting capital city the city centre is just 12 miles to the north via Dalkeith. It's close to the A7 which is one of the main routes right through the Scottish Borders between Edinburgh and Carlisle. If you prefer not to drive, you can catch a train from Gorebridge, taking around 30 minutes to get to Edinburgh Waverley station. Living in the Scottish Borders means you'll have easy access to miles of unspoilt countryside whenever you feel like a change of scenery. The coast to either side of North Berwick is another option, for fishing villages and historic harbours, gorgeous beaches, and of course plenty of excellent golf courses.
