Buying a home is a daunting experience. There are so many things to consider, so many unknowns: How do I  find the right property? Is it in  the right area? Am I paying the right price? Will I get a mortgage?

And if we add in the fact that this is the most expensive purchase that we are likely to make, in our lifetime, it is no wonder that homebuying is on the top of the list of the most stressful experiences we go through.

Since the launch of our Property Search service, we are regularly contacted by prospective buyers asking us to help them to find and purchase the right property. 

On the back of these requests, our product team have been working on developing a solution to benefit both agents and consumers. We’re proud to announce the launch of our new service, Buyer Passport. Buyer Passport helps consumers to follow a simple step by step process of things they need to do to find their dream property and be purchase ready. 

Our Buyer passport consists of several levels:

  •     Blue: buyer passed basic checks
  •     Bronze: Blue Passport + buyer provided their search preferences 
  •     Silver: Bronze Passport + buyer has a Mortgage in Principle
  •     Gold: Silver passport + buyer has been qualified by a mortgage adviser 

The buyers can choose to share their Buyer Passport with local estate agents, that are registered with OneDome. Essentially prospective buyers are creating ‘Wanted ads’ and estate agents have an opportunity to search for local qualified buyers, check their financial profile and contact the customers if they have property that matches their criteria.

Our Buyer Passport not only means that you can identify potential qualified buyers but also means that your customers are better informed and ready to move forward with their purchase.
