Croft is a small village in the East Midlands county of Leicestershire, England. It is situated on the River Soar and the Grand Union Canal, and is around 5 miles north-east of the city of Leicester. This area of Leicestershire is renowned for its stunning countryside, with rolling hills and plenty of woodland, making it a great place to live.

The village itself is home to around 2,000 people, and features a number of small, independent shops and businesses, as well as a popular pub. In addition to being a popular destination for cyclists and walkers, there are also a number of great fishing spots nearby.

The village is also home to Croft Academy, a popular secondary school with excellent facilities and excellent exam results. Other nearby attractions include the Bradgate Park, an 850-acre deer park with a range of activities, and the Leicestershire & Rutland Steam Railway, which runs from the nearby village of Quorn.
