Cottenham is a small village in the district of South Cambridgeshire in England. It is situated approximately 12 miles north of Cambridge and 5 miles south of Ely. It is a charming village with a good sense of community and a variety of amenities. The village centre consists of a few shops, a pub, a church and a post office. There are also a couple of Primary Schools and a Secondary School within the village.

The surrounding area is mainly rural and agricultural, with the River Ouse running through the village. There are plenty of green spaces to explore, including two nature reserves and two country parks. There are also plenty of walking and cycling paths in the area.

In terms of places to live, there is a range of housing available in Cottenham. You can choose from Victorian terraced homes, modern apartments, and post-war semi-detached properties.
